STEP 3
How to Register and Apply to the University?
Prepare a word document with details of yourself, your education, residential address and family details.
If you are a school student applying for higher studies then you have to include your marks sheet of board exams – PUC / 12th standard/ IB.
If you are applying for Undergraduate courses, then some UK universities only accept applications through UCAS (Universities and College Admission Services); whereas many other Universities also accept direct student applications. Please speak to University HUB advisors to get more information.
If you are a graduate student you can add your UG transcript. Transcript is a consolidated marks or grade card. Direct admission is available for Post Graduate Courses.
Many Universities require the student to apply for the transcript after graduation.
You can apply for any number of official transcripts with your present University.
Bank statements of your parents would suffice.
It’s a write-up about why you want to join the particular UK University, your aspirations after doing the course. This write up should give the selection board at the University understand your needs and aspirations.
Our Expert Advisors can help you with this document.
Few universities ask for UCAT/BMAT scores.
UCAT scores range between 300 to 900 whereas BMAT scores are between 1 to 9 where 9 is the highest in Section 1 and 2. Section 3 has a range of 1 to 5.
LNAT scores are required for joining Law courses. They test your comprehension skills by reading a passage and answering multiple choice questions. Marking is out of 42.
IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL – Exemption is provided to students who have
step 4
Congrats - You can accept your offer
Your application will be scrutinized and when you get selected you will receive a conditional or an unconditional offer from the University.
On receiving the unconditional offer you can pay the fees and apply for visa.
If the offer is conditional the University may ask for few more information to get a conditional offer. Some of the reasons could be
- You have to secure minimum 70% in your High School OR
- You also have to secure a minimum 6.5 IELTS score in all your skills etc.
- Paying deposit of fee towards your course
step 5
Paying Fees
You can pay either full fee or deposit towards your tuition fees to receive CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies).
As an international student you have to receive a CAS which stands for Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. You will receive CAS once you have made a fee payment to the University.
Universities have different fee policies – some expect you to pay in full whereas others are happy with a fee deposit towards your fees. The amount is specified on the University letter.
step 6
Apply for a VISA
Once you receive the CAS, you can apply for the student VISA.
step 7

Once you get your Visa, start preparing for your accommodation and travel plans.
